Celebrating a ‘Day For Life’

This year we thought it would be a good idea to be part of the ‘Day for Life’, the 10th annual manifestation in favour of life organised by The Malta Unborn Child Movement in collaboration with several other organisations.

The main message this year-round was the need to protect the human person in the womb, and a proposal was presented to the Maltese Parliament to hold a national conference on ‘womb ecology’ and the quality of life for all unborn children. Watch our highlight’s video for an overview of the day.

“The first environment of the human person is the womb… It’s not just ‘Don’t Kill the Baby’ but also ‘Don’t Harm the Baby!'” – Tony Mifsud

Main Events

We joined the manifestation as The Malta Unborn Child Movement, together with other organisation like Life Network and Gift of Life, made their proposal. Afterwards, the crowd marched through Valletta to St. John’s Co-Cathedral where Holy Mass was celebrated by the Archbishop of Malta, followed by more speeches given inside the oratory which we also recorded!

We allowed our footage to be used for a news feature for NET TV, not because we have any political affiliation to prove but because the message is more important than the messenger.
